AR-OT

Typically, condensates are mixed with up to 50% volume synthetic oil to thin crude as a method of reducing the viscosity while increasing the flow. High pressure steam is injected into the well to free the oil from the substrata. These techniques are expensive, a source of pollution, and do not offer the advantages that AR-OT™ can provide.

AR-OT™ is used to increase the flow of crude in the substrata by reducing the surface tension of the oil molecules without the need for increased temperature, steam or hot water injection, or toxic solvents which pollute. AR-OT™ is completely compatible with condensate, and it allows for more efficient recovery at the well head and increased flow through the pipeline.

AR-OT™ can reduce the viscosity of crude oil 5 to 10 times (20,000 cTs to 200 cTs, depending on initial viscosity and the amount of AR-OT™). No heat is required, and it will allow oil to flow through the pipeline at temperatures as low as 4° Celsius.

Benefits

Reduces viscosity without additional heat for all heavy oil including oil sands. (Energy saving!)

Increases production without the use of steam injection into the well.

No water needed.

No additional add mixtures or toxic solvents needed. Totally soluble with condensate.

90% plus recovery for reuse at the refinery or in the field.

Will not alter the oil structure when it is distilled at the refinery.

Reduces or eliminates the need for synthetic oil additives.

Can be used with continuous drip feed or bulk injection.

Separates oil from water including heavy laden salt water.

Can be used to recover crude oil from new well drilling tailings.

No need for corrosion protection in the oil pipeline.

Can be used to free paraffin plugs.

Can be used to thin bulk heating oil when pumping from bulk transport to storage tank.
